Moving to Austin, TX

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

^^ Yep, been gone for awhile. UFO filled that void and then some, imo. There are still the usual Main Event and Dave n' Buster's.

No shit... we should have a central TX Racketboy gathering or something. Hobie is in Houston. He would probably make the drive. :D

If it happened, I'd be there. The racketboy community is about as solid as they come.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

If I've had some work done on my car and I think it's up for a long drive, sure thing. :) My CV joints are very unhappy with me right now and I don't want to get stranded in the middle of nowhere.

Ahh screw it, maybe rope a friend into coming/driving or just rent a car for a weekend.

If there were enough people, it would probably be worth it. Maybe get a grill going and some of the adult beverage. It'd be pretty refreshing to meet some people who go about their gaming the same way that I do instead of just buying the next 'Big FPS Sequel'!

If you guys are serious, I'll start looking around for a venue. My place is way too small to hold a gathering. Gameover says to contact them for group gatherings on their site. Maybe I can talk to the guys in the North location. They have a nice sized courtyard area in the shopping complex that would be perfect to set up a grill and hang out in. Wheel in a few CRTs and some systems on a mild afternoon and it would be a good time.

I think I'd be serious. It sounds like fun. Anyone else?
