I bought a couple of GBA games on ebay a few years ago that turned to be pirate cartages.
I sent both the sellers an email saying that I knew that these I had been sent a bootleg cartrage and if they didnt send me a refund i would report them to every anitpiracey group I could find.
One sent me a refund without me sending the game back and they other gave me a refund and some money to send the game back.
I ended up giving the booleg I got to keep away because whats the point in playing final Fantasy VI without being able to save.

Re: Pirate cart - should seller pay shipping?
Congrats. With the risk of losing Amazon standing, I doubt that cart would get re-sold.gtmtnbiker wrote:The seller just refunded me my original purchase price + return shipping. He ended up doing the right thing. Hopefully he doesn't try to sell the cartridge again.
