What are the shining jewels in your video game collection?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

What are the shining jewels in your video game collection?

Post by saturnfan »

About two years ago I got into video game collecting, but due to financial reasons suspended that habit, but have since taken it up again recently.

But that is irrelevant, while I may not have the biggest or most impressive collection, I do have a few notables:

The absolute shining jewel of my collection is Panzer Dragoon Saga (SS), complete in good condition. With some honorable mentions:

1. Albert Odyssey (SS) - Complete and in good condition.
2. Dragon Force (SS) - Disc only, but in mint condition. Despite being incomplete it is still worth about $50. I have been thinking about re buying the game, and then e-baying my single disc.
3. Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete (PS1)- Complete and in good condition
4. Arc the Lad Collection (PS1) - Complete and in good condition

I also have Magic Knight Rayearth (SS) but it is in deplorable condition. No manual, disc is scratched up (but it works), and the case is a little scruffy. This wasn't my fault though, it came from an unscrupulous ebayer. Which is a shame because I think the game has risen in value since I got it.

So like I said, it might not be a grandiose collection, but I got some stuff.

I suggest you google "crowning" and decide again what the title of the post should be. I'm sure this is not what you meant, but it's the first thing that came to my mind.

I would say Elder Scrolls Arena CD-ROM version and the sealed copy of Dungeon Master I got recently. As far as consoles I do not have anything that is worth anything or that is rare.

No, No
Shining Jewels?
God I think that is even more suggestive.

Haha, crowning... Anywho, mine would be D&D collection (SS), Saturn Bomberman, and the Metal Gear Solid 3:Subsistance LE (recently featured on this site!). I'll eit my post if I think of more.

This thread just made my day. All I meant was crown jewels is probably what you were aiming for.

As a serious Megaman player:

Megaman Legends 2 CIB
Misadventures of Tron Bonne CIB
Megaman V for GB
Megaman X3 for SNES
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

My crown jewel is the fact that I have a well-rounded collection with very few bad titles.
