Which Company is best known for Mediocrity?

I think it's more productive to talk about mediocre developers instead of publishers.

tri-Ace is the first company I think when the subject is mediocrity. They practically output one turd for every good game released. Besides, even those good games have severe flaws.

I'm sad to admit it, but yah, i agree with jfrost. First tri-Ace game I played was Star Ocean 2, then Valkyrie Profile, on a good roll. Then with today's releases... Valkyrie Profile 2 (meh), Star Ocean 3 (Ohhh -> meh by mid game), Infinite Undiscovery (Ok by my standard), Star Ocean Last Hope (Burned once again...), lastly, Star Ocean Last Hope International (burned -> Yay)

After their first two games, I thought you were a quality company, but it seems each of their sequels never meet what the fans are expecting. I wasn't expecting much with Infinite Undiscovery, I guess thats why I was mildly surprised by it.

Yeah, they made some terribly half-assed games, plus they were part of Acclaim, who has also been noted for the mediocre.

I would say Ubisoft. They make the "Imagine" series after all.
