Which Company is best known for Mediocrity?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I think Cavia wins the spot for mediocrity.

Even though it's gone now, I'll say Acclaim. How they stayed afloat for so long will always evade me.

One company people always think is bad is Majesco, but they actually make some pretty good stuff.

Maybe we can go with 3DO. After Army Men 2 they essentially dropped the ball, but they made a number of good games prior to that stage.

Sega.

*Runs away* Kidding! Kidding! Don't set up that noose just yet!

Personally, I give the award to Activision. They've been rehashing the same games so often to the point where you can easily predict their releases any given year (New GH, new COD, new TH, new Marvel-licensed game - and at least 1 out of every four of those games will come with cheap, over-price plastic peripherals)...

...and when they do step out of that (like with Prototype and Blur), the games that result are very similar (and usually, very inferior) to another product that happens to be seeing release within the same month.

Whether you disagree, Activision games get Positive reviews, on average.
Plus I heard about prototype before infamous(Like a year)
