I escaped that cycle after sonic heroes was such a let down compared to sonic adventure 2 (loved that game)

I think the Sonic Cycle started for me in 1996 when I bought Sonic 3D blast. I thought the game looked great, but the isometric view caused me to constantly run into things. I couldn't believe Sega made a bad Sonic game.

sonic 3D blast ain't that bad compared to the games that came after the Dreamcast
