Apple>Microsoft

Post by Pulsar_t »

Apple's shares have trumped those of Microsoft, for the first time since 1989. Better be prepared for Ol' Mac's taking over the world, one iThing at a time

Meanwhile the Foxconn suicides go on largely unnoticed.

cause the internet doesn't have enough flame threads about this.....

I don't really care. Heck I welcome the competition, since if PC sales drop they'll have to drop the price of hardware even more, which is already at it's lowest , thanks to the brutal competition that is Intel-AMD and nVidia-ATI (AMD I know I know).

windows is crappy software, mac is crappy hardware.

Though a lot of mac users tend to forget that PC isn't only windows, there is also Linux

I'd like my options thankyouverymuch. The worrying thing is that it seems sweatshops are employed even by 'fashionable' IT brands like Apple. I don't know but it seems Apple should distance themselves from the suicides at Foxconn. (I once had a Faxconn mobo, and it sucked.. Those poor workers killing themselves it makes one think.. at least me)

I don't know much about stocks. I am going to assume you mean volume.
People buy What looks better, and what is cool. Plus, Microsoft is mostly software.

Let's see what happens if I say this:
Linux>Windows>Macintosh.
I'd better run for cover, a flame war is about to start.

The value of Apple shares has much more to do with the Ipod / Iphone than Mac OS.

Did not see his remark about the suicides, so I didn't get the irony
