Twilight is certainly not my thing, but I've learned to stop thinking about it. Yes, it's pretty bad (speaking from a literary point of view) - and yes, it responsible for popularizing the sissy-fication of two of the most bad-ass monster archetypes (it certainly wasn't the first, but it was the one that started the movement) - but hey, we all have crap that we love that others might laugh at. That's the way of the world.

I've actually got a friend who is very into the whole Twilight thing. And, weirdly enough, he's a heterosexual male.

To sum it up Twilight makes me ashamed of being part of the human race. In the sense how something is made without any effort at all yet gets way more recognition than it should deserve and it sucks both ways. The fans suck just as much as the ones that hate it because both parties have been sucked in stupid argument about a series of books and movies that really should have never been taken seriously at all.

Hate Twilight, myself, but True Blood is actually really awesome! Good mix of action, suspense, cliffhangers, and mature themes. The story line actually moves at a pace that actually engages the audience, both male AND female...

I AM, however, pretty sick of this whole Vampire craze, though.. First it was pirates.. Then zombies were the in-thing.. Now vampires are all the craze.. (Somewhere, a Belmont's lifeless body is dangling alone in a drafty room..)

I'm just going to go out on a limb here and make a prediction: Mummies are going to be totally tits in 2011!!
