So I heard a RUMOUR that Ninja Theory is working on DMC5
So I heard a RUMOUR that Ninja Theory is working on DMC5
I'm not too sure if this is going to work out, but I don't want CAPCOM to just sit down and do nothing. I want them to work together just like how Kojima is collaborating with Mercury on the upcoming Castlevania game. Castlevania is actually looking really good visually because I remember how it lacked detail on the very first trailer. Man, I don't want DMC to turn out like Dead Rising 2. Dead Rising 2 might look fun to some people, but I just hate the fact that is no longer made by CAPCOM. When you look at a CAPCOM game, you know how it looks like just by looking at the way the game is designed. It's the same with most other companies.

Well Capcom is pretty busy this year with more games. I just hope its not that hard to beat. They should work on story and especially do a nice polish graphics update. I bet it will be teaser trailer at e3.I believe Square worked on a few Capcom (rpgs) back a couple of years ago.
My favorite companies are Konami, Capcom, and some times Rockstar/activision. You I thought I forgot about nintendo.

Eh, I honestly didn't feel like Lost Planet 2 was made by Capcom, either. I don't know why, but it just didn't strike me as being something made by Capcom. I personally think Capcom is losing it, especially since they feel like Western Development is the future - all it's doing is making them more and more generic, and they are losing their soul.
Anyway, Ninja Theory working on DMC5 might be possible. I remember Capcom saying they were bringing back a franchise that western devs would be working on, so it's possible.

They don't. They stated that they'd re-evaluate Western development outsourcing after Bionic Commando's and Dark Void's debacles.the7k wrote:especially since they feel like Western Development is the future

Oh yes definitely.. Need more emo devils for DMC5.
I'm happy with DMC1. Never bothered with the sequels. Someone needs to tell Capcom the 90s are over.

I did, briefly.. I then came to the conclusion that I don't care about the story or the whole series. Sometimes one game is enough. I don't really want a Bayonetta sequel, for example.AppleQueso wrote:You never bothered with DMC3?Pulsar_t wrote:Oh yes definitely.. Need more emo devils for DMC5.![]()

I'm still not convinced games are worth playing for the stories in general.
My game-related blog.

Um, yeah, Bayonetta pretty much made Devil May Cry(and Ninja Gaiden) obsolete. You guys do know that Bayonetta is from the person who CREATED Devil May Cry
Did Ninja Theory do Heavenly Sword? I played that for a little while and was NOT impressed. I might give it another chance one of these days
