You are asking why Sony is failing.

Sony isn't failing. They are doing quite well. That's why this whole topic comes off as a complete joke. Yes, they've made some boneheaded decisions and failed in a few areas, but if that was all it takes for a company to 'fail', then there wouldn't be a successful company out there.

Me personally, I've found that Microsoft and Nintendo have let me down in just as many ways as Sony, if not more.

The PS1 and PS2 were also a bitch to program for. The Saturn, which happens to be my favorite system of all time, was notoriously hard to program for. How does this influence you? Are you a game programmer?

The PS3 has many more exclusives of note than either the Wii or 360 from where I'm sitting. I'll take 3D Dot Game Heroes and Demon's Souls over anything on the Wii or 360.

...and the fact that either the Wii or XBox 360 is a more desirable system.

The PS3 is a much more desirable system that either the 360 or Wii for me because of the stability, free online and multimedia capabilities.

I'll never touch a 360 because I've personally witnessed 4 of them die just from hanging out with friends. EVERY friend I have who has a 360 has had it die on them with only one exception.

As for the Wii, I only own it for TvC, Ultimate Shooting Collection and the Trauma series. It has been unplugged for going on two months now, and I haven't had the drive to hook it up at all.

MGS4 and, God of War 3, LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Killzone, Warhawk, Resistance, 3D Dot Game Heroes, ModNation Racers... Do I need to list more amazing exclusives? Sure the 360 has some too, but you seem to obviously be trolling now.

Man that post is full of fail... considering this whole report just came out comparing XBox 360 and PS3 exclusives. XBox 360 does have more exclusives, but they receive less critical acclaim compared to the games on the PS3.

I don't feel like finding a link because this thread is fucking stupid, but I'm fairly certain that the games division of Sony was the only division that made a profit last year.

Sony isn't failing. Failing topic is failing.

They started out rocky this gen sure, but they have gained a lot of ground. Not everyone can have a bang from day one like the Wii. And, as others have stated, no the PSP isn't anywhere near the success the DS is. But its still good and has definitely made a bigger dent then any other non-Nintendo handheld.

And out of those 9 games listed for XBox 360... 5 of them can also be purchased on PC (unless you are not counting PC for some odd reason). I believe that nearly all of the PS3 exclusives haven't left the console.
