Post by SpaceBooger »

Check this out: http://hyperkin.com/index.php/retro-system-retron-3.html/

Tap into the joy of your childhood with the RetroN 3 gaming system. Capable of playing Nintendo, SEGA Genesis and Super Nintendo cartridges, the RetroN 3 is the only system you need to play thousands of classic games.

Two original controll ports for each gaming platform
S-video and composite AV inputs
Compatible with original Nintendo, SEGA Genesis or Super Nintendo controllers
Includes two wireless controllers (batteries not included)
Available in red or charcoal gray color

I doubt the emulation is top notch, but if it is... Wow!
All three consoles in one and you can use the original controllers... it's got to be too good to be true.

I rarely expect wonders with these kind of clone machines. I especially see the wireless controls being very "eh". It'd be nice if it did work though.

Have you ever seen the Super Genitari? ( http://www.stupidfingers.com/projects/sg/index.html )

It looks like one of those noisemaker toys for babies. Twist the knob to hear a cow moo. Turn it the other way and hear a firetruck!

Someone needs to make a 12' long system that plays everything.

Man you guys are rough. So what if not the original, if it works then a great deal.
S-Video and Original controller ports, I'm intrigued!

That thing is pretty hideous, but the wireless controllers are very cool, plus the inputs for all the various controller is really quite awesome as well.

RetroN 3 sounds like an 80s action cartoon.

I kind of want one...

I hate clones.
Mainly because they will turn on you when your not looking.
No, I hate them because they tend to be not well made.

I dunno. I have a Retro Duo and it's pretty solid. Maybe there is hope for this thing?
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I had a retro duo.
It wasn't very solid.
I just think that these products tend to be made a bit uh.. cheap.
