I think when you sign up for this site there should be a little check box that asks "Do you own an NES?" And if you don't check it then you can't sign up for the site. first off, I never said that I never owned a NES. I owned one at launch. I owned several of them. I just don't own one now, nor am I interested in collecting for the console now.
Second, I'm pretty sure there's a long list of members who would agree that I've engaged in all sorts of meaningful video game conversations here -- sans NES.

nope craigslist, i was looking for a cheap n64 for my friend anyways and i didn't have harvest moon in my collection
