Anime Recommendations

Recently I've felt like getting into another series. Last time I watched something I like was almost five years ago. I have not been part of the scene for quite awhile and I'm hoping to find a series to get me back on my feet.

I am really picky and find a lot of well regarded series boring. Some of my favorite series include: Cowboy Bebop, Cromartie High, Trigun, Big O, Ghost in the Shell, and I also have a thing for Doraemon. Any suggestions would be very appreciated!
