thinking about an AV reciever...recomendations ?

Post by nate »

hey all...
so I'm thinking of getting an AV receiver and one feature I want is dual video output, simultaneous video signal to 2 lcds.

I'd want inputs for my computer, PS3, S-video for Saturn, component for Dreamcast and I think I'll get a DVD recorder with a VHS deck in it some time so I'll want to plug that in too.

and an input for a turntable for vinyl...

is there a way to connect a phone via bluetooth ?

I asked about dual video out at a stereo store once and they said something about licencing to show a film on more than once screen at a time... it's a feature I'd really like to have. even if one output is component and the other HDMI. so long as they both work simultaneously.

one of my tvs is a second monitor now, so I drag VLC to the bigger screen to play a movie, but I'd like that to happen on my other tv too at the same time. I think that would happen if I input my computer to a receiver with dual video out.

any ideas ? thanks :)
Ocelot, did it again...sorry Boss !

I don't have a recommendation, but I would like to let you know about Crutchfield.com if you don't already...

Even if you don't buy from them, their website is the best to shop on because they give the best descriptions and the best pictures of the item.
