As great as this news is, people just need to be wary and read the descriptions well. A few of these are missing microswitches, which might come as a rude shock if you didn't pay attention while ordering.

Good on them for offering these parts. I've got a few arcade projects in the pipeline where I don't mind using cheap and nasty parts (arcade machines for the kids). These will come in handy.

The only problem is when you buy the buttons, you don't choose what colors you want, they just send them to you at random.

I think they're selling them as spares/repairs parts for already existing control panels. So if your switch has broken you can simply swap the parts regardless of the colour you receive. Beats the pants off buying a complete button replacement if there's nothing actually wrong with the physical button, just a problem with the switch. For that purpose they're very cheap considering everything is free delivery on DX.

Oh my god, stay away. That's just a bunch of cheap bullshit. No one buying arcade parts would even consider that crap.

Seems to be pretty good prices. May be fine for the mileage of home use.

I'm a whore for dealextreme, but for stuff of this type, you may want to visit happ controls before deciding. http://www.happcontrols.com. The happ control prices don't look much higher, and are on-location quality. Granted, dealextreme has free shipping on most everything....

If you're going to all the trouble of building your own arcade cab, wouldn't you use quality parts for the controls? I say skip this Chinese junk.

I can not emphasize this enough: these buttons and joysticks are shit. Joysticks especially. They are really hard to get perfect, and will affect your whole feel of the game.

On top of that- the buttons aren't crazy cheap or anything. The high end stuff is like 10 cents more in some cases.

I'm not even an expert here, but i've played on shitty fight sticks and crazy expensive ones and you can really REALLY tell the difference. It is noticeable.

If you are going to buy parts i URGE you to not buy these. Check out lizard lick amusements instead.
