Awesome comparison dude. When you said Contra III was superior to Hard Corps I almost had a heart attack, but thats only because I absolutely love the music in Hard Corps. Otherwise I think you're right, Contra III is better, especially for multiplayer.

They are both great games but Hard Corps has a special place in my heart.

Back in the day the snes was my favorite 16 bit system it still is contra III was is one of my favorite games on the system the game is epic classic then I played contra hard corps on the genesis the bosses, the graphics, multiple paths the only thing contra III has over hard corps is audio & it is a prettier more colorful game hard corps has good catchy tunes but the tunes in part III rock hard corps is not as pretty as III but it still looks very good. Part III is easy even of the hardest difficulty hard corps is much more game there is so much more to see than III hard corps is the best Contra game ever made.
