Play the Pacman Google logo.

In one of the hallways of the New York Google office they have an interactive museum of sorts with old computers and a few old consoles, such as Atari 2600 and Commodore 64, complete with games to play.

And no, the original Pac-Man does not "loop." 255 is the maximum number that can be stored in an 8-bit unsigned bite, so it glitches on the 256th stage which can't be completed, thus the max score in Pac-Man.

Pac-Man and Asteroids are probably my two favorite arcade games ever!
I was about 5 years-old when Pac-Man Fever hit and even had a Pac themed birthday party

I love Pac-Man so much one of the characters in my comic strip is the "Missing Piece of Pac-Man"

It makes me sad that this won't exist soon...

Anyone know of any way to save it?

I ran down the hall and showed this to several of my bosses. They all got excited and started playing. It's good to know we are all kids at heart.

It took some getting used to, but I managed to dual-wield (does that make sense in this context?) Pacman and Ms. Pacman and completed level 1. I feel accomplished :)

I was also wondering if anyone here actually managed to save the interactive doodle in playable form, or if Google just did it in a way that didn't allow that.

Ivo.
