Ever get that weird feelingthat when you start up your Diamond cart and your Pearl cart after 4 months of not playing them,
and over half of the PC box pokémon have been deleted?
That is exactly what happened to me right now. Seriously,
the only poke's that remain are my party pokemon, a Poliwhirl and a Hariyama on Diamond,
and Palkia and my party on Pearl.
But strangely enough, I really don't care too much, even though the pokemon I put hardwork into raising
were deleted, my Platinum cart was unaffected.
This ever happen to any of you?

Well, not with the current ones but my old Red and Silver version, yes. When you turn it on you get that paranoid feeling of seeing "new game", I hate that. And are you sure your game isn't bootleg? I've never heard of legit games doing that.

Reserved, bought Day 1 April 22 2007.
Sigh. It's a good thing Gen IV had such a LITTLE impact on me.

Re: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl deleted pokemon
I lost my crystal version with every single Pokémon at the time, Event Celebi and OU team down to the last EXP point. I spent days to get all my RBY pokes to Crystal and now they are all gone T_TKid Dracula wrote:Well, not with the current ones but my old Red and Silver version, yes.
Answer? Play more
I have never heard about those carts erasing random pokémon, makes little sense.

you'd think since they spend zero development time on coming up with new and better gameplay, they'd spend more time making sure the game is bug free.
But yeah I've had this happen to me, and in general Pokemon games have problems holding on to your saved data. ARGH when I found out my Red version that had all 151 pokemon, had it's game save deleted

Like any FPS, Metroid, Zelda and practically 99% of the games? Also if it is not broken, don't fix it. All they need to do is to nerf Stealth Rock and give some Pokémon some good moves (Fire types, for example need a goog physical attack)ZeroAX wrote:you'd think since they spend zero development time on coming up with new and better gameplay, they'd spend more time making sure the game is bug free.
When you found out your Pokémon Red cartridge several years passed so it was deleted. It's not that it randomly dissapears while you are playing. So yeah. But yeah I've had this happen to me, and in general Pokemon games have problems holding on to your saved data. Re: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl deleted pokemon
actually this happened to me years ago, when I was still playing the red version, so it wasn't because years had passed since I lasted turned it on.
Also you are comparing the changes that Metroid and Zelda, have had over the years to the changes pokemon has had? It doesn't even improve on it's graphics. Pearl looks like a GBA game. They will FINALLY be adding moving sprites for the pokemon in Black & White.
Gameplay wise, they could balance the game out. If your pokemon has the type advantage, it's pretty much easy street. Heck 1 of my pokemon was enough to beet the gym leader's entire team, since they'd use exclusively 1 type of pokemon.
