Best party games for 4players?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Along the same lines, anyone try Buzz series, hoping there is one like You Don't Know Jack.

I agree that it can be long and slow. In Mario Party 7, you can play just the party mini-games with up to 8 people. It's somewhat ingenious where two players share one gamecube controller.

I still recommend Mario Party, especially on the Wii, no cords to deal with, just laying back and wiggling your Wii stick. And while you're moving around just talk about other things, or jack it.

That aside, yes I second the WWEvRAW games on the PS2 w/ a multitap. Hell in a Cell!!! Madness.

That aside, SSB? N64 preferably.

That aside, Wii Golf, wicked fun, but also difficult and a little shallow.

That aside, Risk! (boardgame ofc)
Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for me.

And I wish I could say Fire Pro Returns, but damnit the learning curve on that game is crazy. No one who hadn't played it before would have any idea what the hell they were doing.

Going all N64, I'd vouch for Super Mario Kart, GoldenEye, and Smash Brothers.

Oh, how many finals did I end up not studying for because of playing my roommates all the time in those 3 games?
