This may mean a US release is on it's way:

Sin and Punishment made it here, so I don't see why this wouldn't...

Racketboy,

Great news!!!

I hope so. It would be excellent to have it in America.

BTW, this is the official page: http://vc.sega.jp/vc_aliensoldier/

Why does JPN and EU have divverent VC lists than us? Aren't they just emulated games? Sounds like easy distribution to me.

If you have the ability to play imports, I highly recommend picking up Gunstar Heroes Treasure Box for PS2. You get Gunstar Heroes, Dynamite Headdy, and Alien Soldier. Cool extras including English versions of the games!

Well, I used the easy method! I imported a ceramic white slim ps2 from playasia for $200. I assume you mean easy AND cheap though. Not so sure about that. I believe it still involves a mod chip or at least installing a different flip top drive. You might want to check the Hacks and Mods forum. Anybody else chime in on that?

Well if you have swap magic then you don't have a problem. Thats the method I use. Right now Im playing sword of the berserk for PS2 and Altered Beast.
