I watched it last weekend. It was actually a lot better than I thought it'd be. It wasn't just like a gross-out cop-out. It was done pretty well. And it least kept me entertained.

Friend of mine went to a screening:

THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE was really good and really disturbing. Incredibly well shot and if this movie somehow manages to pick up a mainstream audience (highly doubtful) the crazy doctor can join the ranks of Hannibal Lector and Jack Torrance in the creepy hall of fame.

It was actually a lot more of a black comedy then I was expecting. The doctor has some very funny (still creepy) moments.

Definitely not for the faint of heart but it was very far from the typical "gore porn" that you might expect from this movie. There was actually very little graphic gore, it was more psychological gore (if you see the film I think that term will make sense to you).

The director really knows how to shoot horror. Once her gets this centipede thing out of his system (there is a sequel, "the full sequence" planned where he has 12 people connected and he said that that's going to make the first one "look like Mu Little Pony") I think we will see a lot more from him.
