I am somewhat familiar with the storyline of the comics. I've read the first issue and bits and pieces of others. Krang was inspired by the Utroms/Utoms/whatever, and I think the 80s cartoon even had an episode where they showed a planet with other "krangs". My idea for a live action adaption of the 80s cartoon had Krang being banished by the others to outer space, kinda like Zod. Then he ends up on earth and teams with Shredder and Baxter stockman to build the technodrome. The technodrome would emerge from beneath New York or something, Baxter would turn into a fly, Krang would build his cyborg body, which I'm pretty sure would be 100% creepier and more awesome in live action. . . oh and there'd be ninja turtles in there somewhere too. And of course Animatronic Suit versions of Bebop and Rocksteady.

Nope! Just got it a couple months ago. I got the 4 figures on the left all at once for $50 including shipping, which is pretty good for 20 year old toys considering the 2 re-releases were 10.99 each at toys r us. Toys are expensive these days. A couple of those still have tags and they sold for like 3.50.

TMNT action figures came out when kids my age were getting too old to play with action figures, but did anyway. I'll always remember them for having the weapons connected to a larger plastic piece, so sometimes a sword or nunchuck would have a little stub of brown plastic on the top.

I used to keep the plastic pieces that connected everything together and used them as additional weapons.
