Breaking Bad Season 3 Starts Tonight

Hiya guys!

Just chiming in to say I hate you all and the fact that my universal remote doesn't have the button to access the program function on my VCR.

I've missed way too many episodes this season.........

Before I got my DVR (or whenever I forgot to set it to record) I just get the episode I missed from a torrent. EZTV is the best, downloads super fast. It's even better than regular TV because the commercials are all taken out.

I'd torrent it, but I just seem to dislike torrenting most stuff I'm easily able to get access to these days. Call me crazy, but if I'm not grabbing it off the TV or watching it on a respectably sized screen then I'll wait to see it later or on DVD.

Ah, yeah, I always forgot. I have my main PC hooked up to my HDTV, so I get the same effect watching a video on the computer as watching a DVD or TV or whatever. I forget that not all people have this.

Don't sweat it, I prefer me some shiny plastic discs for video anyhow.

Talking about Skyler, she was the thing that almost ruined last night's episode for me. The whole "I think you have something to do with Hank's sorry state" doesn't strike me as plausible. It would make much more sense to me if she still were in a state of denial. But Walt's talk to Gus was great.

Yeah, that reminds me, why does she suspect that anyway? Was it the look on Walt's face when they were talking about the warning call? I didn't think there was any way to draw the conclusion that Walt had anything do with it. And in fact, it's not like it was Walt's fault anyway, right?

Yeah, hence why it wasn't plausible. She just jumped to some absurd conclusion. It's sad, I always thought the writing for this show was spectacular and airtight. Now we are required to believe that Skyler had a hunch out of nowhere and is punishing Walt based on it...

I don't think it's that out there. She knows her husband has made huge sums of money selling meth in a short period of time. She knows that Walt is involved with Jessie. I can't remember if she knows that Hank went after Jessie. She knows that Hank is trying to track down a major producer of meth in the area. Not to mention she is not involved in the drug world and wouldn't even know if there could be more than one producer of meth in the area. Even if she is leaping to conclusions, that isn't an unrealistic thing for a person to do.

Ah, when you put it that way it makes more sense.

TSCC for one was canned thanks to the antiquated Nielsen Ratings system, whereas the truth was that many did watch the show online but the network couldn't have made money on the show that way.

If only there's a better way for original shows like BB to generate revenue. I don't think I've heard of straight-to-DVD series.
