Just played an amazing Indie Game

Post by Kevman »

May be old news, but my friend just showed me a game called "Eversion". My god is it a good game. I don't want to spoil anything but don't play this if you are scared easily or creeped out easily. I'm going to go through again to try and get the "true ending".

And yes, that is the right link and that screenshot is from the game. Don't let looks fool you.

Eversion is great. Still haven't beaten it yet, but it's fun.

I just tried it out...I guess one needs to play for a while to "get it"?

Man, if it's really that scary, then that's the most deceptive screenshot I've ever seen!

I wasn't too worried about spoilers...so I just checked out YouTube and I can see what happens. Frankly, platformers like this drive me nuts with a keyboard so I'd undoubtedly just get frustrated with it as I played further. Still, a cool concept.

Truth be told, I couldn't wait to play through again to see the true ending. I watched it on youtube and its cool but not anything that special.

I'm really not a fan of being scared, especially "cheap" scares. This did a good job of keeping me on edge the whole time. I need to re-learn java so I can make an epic game like this.

Xpadder or GlovePIE can do wonders if you're not comfortable playing using the keyboard. That's how I played Braid on the PC when it first came out.

Ah yes, this game. I've heard of Eversion, never played it since I dislike platformers, but was always interested in the concept.
