My rant to help stupid gamers - please chime in.

Your perspective of a shitty game is entirely based on your personal tastes. If you are a fan of something enough, or young enough, you will like a game regardless of how good or bad other people may think it is. And some people may simply think that a mediocre game is good. It's all personal taste.

So just stay out of other people's business. What you enjoy may not be what other people enjoy.

And on the other hand you have your game stop employees who will say "Batman Dark Tomorrow? Well, if you like Batman, you'll love it".

Sadly, when it comes to kids, this is true.

Not saying that employee was right, especially if he was recommending Batman: Dark Tomorrow to anyone over the age of 10, but I've found that I have to stop giving honest opinions of games if the game in question is for someone who doesn't know how to do long division.
