Do you even own any cabs?vlame wrote:nah man apparently he is insistent on the fact it stays "Official/dedicated" what a lameroid.nickfil wrote:Any referb plans? Mame?
Is there a reason to call me a name?
I had noted it has been several other games over the years. It is a DEDICATED CAPCOM CPS machine which means I use CAPCOM games in it.
You are aware what a dedicated CPS machine is right? Kind of like a dedicated Neo Geo?
It is the official CAPCOM cabinet in the USA.
Cps1, Cps2, Cps3
I have MAME I can run it it but do not. I have 5 arcade cabinets and I switch the games out all the time.
As for the specs on the cabinet and costs.
I paid $400 for the cabinet back in 2003 I think from Colorado and another $300 to have shipped. It came as Marvel Vs Capcom with the board. Third Strike I bought for around $200 in 2001. The security cart broke a year ago I had it repaired recently.
It is a 25 inch Phillips Arcade monitor 15hz RGB. I am using a Q Sound amp for sound. It is wired for Jamma , Jamma + , and Atomiswave.
I am going to add a MULTI jamma to the cabinet later this year and have Alien Vs Predator , SfIII, Progear, MVC and maybe a few others all on one cabinet.

yeah dude- pretty uncalled for. I don't know if you own any cabs vlame, but when you get one with original guts in it... there is something to it. A flare that it has. You don't really want to gut it. I picked up a CPS2 marvel vs capcom cab with the intention of eventually gutting it for mame with a flat screen. Decided not to after it charmed the hell out of me. Shit just happens man.Japhei wrote:Do you even own any cabs?vlame wrote:nah man apparently he is insistent on the fact it stays "Official/dedicated" what a lameroid.nickfil wrote:Any referb plans? I heard an interview (a life well wasted podcast i think) with the guy who ran this pinball museum. He got 30 something pinball games in various conditions with the intention of dismantling them and using them as art. But when he had the power sander and sledge hammer in and, he just couldn't do it. Renovated them instead.
mame is fun for sure, but fucks sake man... this is a retro board for people who love games in all their forms. Be cool. People like what they like.
Pretty good deal man. I always get weird about shipping huge stuff like this, so i tend to look more local. How was the process for that? Pretty painless?Japhei wrote:As for the specs on the cabinet and costs.

Sounds like a really good cab. Did you replace the monitor, or is she an old one? From the photo she looks pretty bright. I was thinking of replacing my own eventually, but it seems like a total hassle to do.
What is a mutli jamma? Are you talking like a x-in-one pcb jamma board?
Also- how the heck did you get this guy wired for jamma jamma+ and atomiswave? I have a cps2 cab. Are you saying that i can plug/play atomiswave boards? Or are you running a special kind of jamma/kick?
sweet zombie jesus! I'm kind of casually looking for my second cab. It was questionable if i had the space for the first one, let alone the second. I guess I'm less 'looking', but rather 'open to' the one i can't say no to.Japhei wrote:I have MAME I can run it it but do not. I have 5 arcade cabinets and I switch the games out all the time. .
What other cabs do you have? You running them in a garage or something?
Sorry to grill you on this stuff man. Just curious!
