Still loving this game, online and off. I have to say though, I've never owned a game that induced such fiery rage in me. I can't tell you how much I fucking hate fighting the Barroth. Every time I die it's because of some stupid reason such as dizzying or a Rhenoplos combo-ing me into a charge. Right now I'm using the Hammer (which is awesome, btw). One day, I'll be able to knock his ass out without worrying about mine.

Ok this game is dangerous. I was on call Saturday night and the kiddos were out of the house so I fired it up and got online with a buddy of mine. Five hours pasted like minutes. This is not a game that I should ever have. I cant fight with a great sword to save my life, but I am a badass gunner.

Re: Monster Hunter Tri controller bundle in stores?
I had a terrible PSO addiction for awhile. I was glad when I was in college and couldnt afford a phoneline so I just played it offline. Now I have Phantasy Star Zero for the DS, its PSO offline in my pocket...sadly it is not as good, but it is good enough to scratch the itch.
Monster Hunter and PSO fall into the same genre for me, Coop Action RPGs. And that just happens to be one of my favorite genres. Gives me everything but an amazing story (typically), and as long as they diversify themselves enough, Ill be hooked and continue to buy them. I was about to buy a PSP with a PS3 controller adapter and TV out, but then the Tri Demo came out in Japan. I just need to get a lan setup going for Tri and the English patched G.
Though Im not a big enough fanboy to buy the jacket:

Though it is badass looking. Am I the only one getting a Shenmue vibe from it?

This is a great game. I had to muster all the willpower I had to pull myself away, but as soon as Summer hits I am going back.
But still gotta exercise too.
