That sounds less like a find of the day and more like an advertisement
...but I found them. Today.
dont lie, a find of the day would be like finding a CIB snes 2 for 7 bucks.
Longbox sports games are not that special.
you just want peeps to buy your stuff.

Any PS1 Long Box are not that common.
My favorite is the Link game Assault Rigs.
Great with my modded Zaxxon Arcades controller.

For the Long Box collector, the list:

Well I found a real gem today garage saling. Megaman Legends 2 for a $1.50! Here's the catch though (and there is a catch) - it's not in the best of shape. Disc is not scratched too bad and it has the back insert, but it was a rental from blockbuster - so it's got the ugly sticker on the disc and only has the front and back cover of the instructions - all the other instruction contents were ripped out. Anybody know any way to get these blockbuster stickers off the top of a disc? I'm guessing trying would be suicide as it would likely take some of the data layer with it. Either way - disc only copies of MML2 are going for 45 bucks on Amazon - not bad for a buck fifty!

Agree, you will peel some of the coating right off if you tried.

actually no.. I go to yardsales looking for things for me, and things that my regular traders are looking for. Dsh is a collector of longbox PS1 games, so for $1 a piece I snatched them in case he needed them. That's all.

2 Sega Game Gears (one needs capacitors changed, the other might not be salvageable), one power supply, 2 carrying cases, 21 games (1 double, 19 which I didn't have before) for 40 Euros (50$). Which might not be impressive for people living in the States. However where I live it's almost impossible to find any retro stuff to buy and postage from overseas is a killer. The last time I met someone who had a Game Gear he wanted 30 Euros for it - console only!

Try Goo-Gone. I successfully removed a Hollywood Video sticker off an old copy of Cyber Sled (PS1) about a year ago. And that sticker had probably been on there a very long time.

Just cake it on over the sticker. Wait about a minute. Then slowly peel.

If you successfully get the sticker off. Then wipe the disc off with a dry or damp towel to remove the rest of the sticker residue and Goo Gone off, so it doesn't eat at the label.

I had a near identical copy of MML2, disc only, former blockbuster rental.

I got the sticker off by using a blow drier on the disc to heat up the label and very, very, VERY slowly peeling it off. It takes a while, but it's doable.

I'm kinda leery of this. If the entire label side of the disc is covered with a clear plastic label, how does the goo gone soak in? Seems like just seeping in around edges might risk damage to the reflective read data when pulling that sticky saran wrap.
