Heh, I use some 150 I've got lying around for dire cases. Just meant to make sure you weren't going to use something with grains the size of table salt. Glad it's working. :)
My reasoning for the finer sand paper is so that wear is even and consistent and lessen possible damage to the contacts.

Indeed, that's definitely batter. I've only had to resort to sandpaper on maybe 2 of the 100s of used carts I've bought.
