I think we should replace change with miniature bills
I think we should replace change with miniature bills
Small monopoly sized bills instead of coins. Thoughts?

I think they should just go cashless. Just have a debit card that keeps track of "credits". It would be almost like Star Trek.
For real though.

I'd say we should abolish the penny, make only dollar coins.

I don't like the idea of all my money being digital any more than I like the idea of all my games being digital. I use my debit card 95% of the time but having money that's "off the grid" is nice too. My old bank was actually an oreo tin.

A) no because using a freaking vending machine would be a pain (4/5 times they don't accept my notes, unless they are fresh off the ATM)
B) no I don't think all money should be in a card, because how will we be able to lend someone money to go and buy something, without us going with him, or trusting him with our entire wallet? Or giving kids lunch money for school. no physical money is too practical for small exchanges.

I like being able to pay an amount of money as little as a penny. I there weren't any pennies then every time I owed someone more than 5 cents, I'd have to use a nickel instead of a penny and ultimately pay more.AmishSamurai wrote:I'd say we should abolish the penny, make only dollar coins.

And not be able to hear the jingle of $5 worth of quarters while walking towards a beckoning Neo-Geo cab? I think not.

I transfer money to my wifes account when ever she ask. It takes me about ten seconds.
Re: I think we should replace change with miniature bills
No, no, no, other way around. All money should be coins. Bills suck, I have never had a vending machine take any of my bills, that's why I try to keep a dollar worth of quarters in case I'm near a vending machine.
Pennies should be gone.

Almost every major currency in the world has coins up to $2 (or equivalent symbol.) I have been to one country, Egypt, when the nickle was paper, but really isnt used since its not even worth the paper its printed on,
