Do you have any words of wisdom for us noobs, fastbilly?

I am so sorry dsheinem, I missed this back before you went to your first con. I have a long list a friend of mine wrote, but the three most important things I can say are this:
1. Plan
2. Bathe/groom
3. DRINK WATER. Everytime you pass a water fountain, even if you are not thirsty, drink. Staying hydrated off of water (not soda, energy drink, or Ramune) will stave off any sort of disease that may fester at the convention.

Ok so kinda late notice, but Ill be in Nashville this weekend for MTAC. I am also helping out on a panel Friday night entitled “Lets give these games some love” And while I am only a panelist, if any of yall are there drop on by. There are seven titles/series being officially covered:
Valkyria Chronicles
Jet Set Radio
SMT/Persona Series
Katamari Forever
Full Metal Alchemist
Sly Cooper Series
And my catch all classics – which I still haven’t decided on a title for but will probably be Star Control 2 or Archon.

It will be a more formal panel than my typical roundtables (again I am only on the panel, not running it), and yes I have reservations about the list as well but I will not say anything about it. The last part of it will be open discussion, so if yall have any awesome titles you like that others have not heard of (import or domestic) lay them on me. I was going to do Battle Cross for the SFC but decided a game that everyone can go home and obtain for free, legally, would be a better choice. I will have all the videos we used at Momocon and a all the ones I can get from Gagaman. And ofcourse, per a forum regular, I will have the Keith Apicary videos ready. Including the infamous Neo Geo music video if the moment strikes as right.

I am still in talks with GMX (Nashville), AWA (Atlanta) and Seishuncon (Atlanta) for panels later in the year if those are more your style, or locality.

Ok, Animazement 2010 in Raleigh, NC is only two weeks away! I'll be there, I know Fastbilly's going to be there and Zeonik Freak is too. Is anyone else is confirmed going?

Hopefully we can all set up a place to meet and get to know everyone from the boards who's going.

Sorry I havent been on recently, but yea, im gonna be there. Ill be cosplaying as Detective Percy from Riding bean/gunsmith cats. Or ill be a guy with a fumanchu and a toy shotgun with cop biker shades on. Ill be the baddest mofo there.

Well they do have that replica of the dog statue (It's name escapes me at the moment) Japanese kids use for meeting up with friends and stuff on the second floor of the convention hall.

Maybe there would be good? I don't have a cell phone, so I'd need to know where to meet up before hitting the con as I don't really have any line of communication.
