4x - Explore, Expand, Exploite, Exterminate - see Civilizations
AFK - Away From Keyboard
AI - Artificial Intellegence - computer players
Aimbot - Auto aiming program
BB - Bye Bye
BBL - Be Back Later
Bot - Computer Player
BRB - Be Right Back
Camper - Staying in the same place
Cap - Capturing a location and/or item

Coop - Cooperative - usually for a story mode of a game

Griefer - One who causes Grief, usually by team killing
Grenade Jump - Using a Grenade to Jump higher
Hack - A cheat that a hacker has used
Hacker - A cheater who has modified the game

HUD - Heads Up Display

ISO - A copy of a cd/dvd onto your computer - typically 1:1
ISP - Internet Service Provider
K - Ok
Lag - A high ping or slow computer - a technical reason for a game to slowdown
Lagger - A Laggy Player
LAN - Local Area Network - a local system of computers or consoles connected together
Leet - An elite player
LOL - Laughing out Loud

MMOFPS - Massive Multiplayer Online FPS - see Planetside or World War 2 Online

Spamming - Continually doing the same action - ie spamming missles
Spawn Camper - A player who camps a spawn point
Spawn Point - Where the players come back to life in a game
Speed Run - Trying to complete a game in the shortest amount of time possible
SRPG - Strategy RPG - see Final Fantasy Tactics
STFU - Shut the Fuck Up
TAS - Tool Assisted
TBS - Turn Based Strategy - see Romance of the Three Kingdoms
TDM - Team DeathMatch
Teabag - To crouch or go prone over a dead enemy
TK - Team Kill
Tking - Team Killing
Tool Assisted Speed Run - Completing a game as fast as technically possible using cheats
TTYTT - To Tell You The Truth
TY - Thank You
Tye - See TY
Username - The name used by the player in game
Wall Hacking - Either cheating so they can shoot/see through walls or exploiting the game so they can travel through walls
Woot - We Owned the Other Team
WTF - What the Fuck
WTH - What the Heck/What the Hell
ZOMG - A mocking form of OMG

I seem to have problems figuring out the abbreviations with playstation, as there are different versions of it abbreviated the SAME way.

Here's how I see it:

PS1: Sony PlayStation
PSOne: Sony's PlayStation mini-rerelease
PSX: Sony Digital Video Recorder with built in PlayStation functionality
pSX: PlayStation emulator

However, some folks label the PS1 the PSX...likely because they've never heard of the PSX.

I usually see people use OBO as Our Best Offer, meaning don't make them any offers thats as low as they are go. They usually just say best offer for your meaning.
