ah that makes sense.
Though I suppose strat/RPG using a stick does sound sort of cool...

Must be quite a shock when a 360 owner buys a PS3 and discovers in awe and disbelief that there are other genres that exist besides TPS and FPS games. Their whole view of reality changed. The second shock probably comes when they discover that there is such a thing as quality single player games that don't need a multi-player mode. Third shock is when they realize that online gaming DOESN'T have to cost anythingWeekend_Warrior wrote:LOL! I know, that pretty much sums up the 360 - the FPS and Gears of War console.Ack wrote:Oh, that's easy. They don't use the d-pad to play first person shooters.Weekend_Warrior wrote:It's funny how pretty much the whole world agrees how worthless the 360 controller is for fighting games. Kinda makes ya wonder how it ever got through the door at Microsoft, doesn't it?
Ah, I see you took the red pill. Welcome to reality free of Microsoft's mind control

The biggest shock I think is when they bought and Wii and learned that games can have COLOUR, but when they tried playing online and learned of friend codes it probably caused the biggest shock of all

Back on topic, playing Putty on the SNES instead of the Amiga is interesting due to the (numerous) extra buttons. Too bad the sound effects are worse. I also think that the Amiga game has better balanced difficulty, but with the (relatively) crappier controls, it's hard to say... I have to say, making all those different actions possible and responsive with just one button was still damn impressive. But having buttons for each of them is still better.
