well if nothing else, just use joy2key and map the dpad to the arrow keys and 1/2 to Z/X

Yes, I tried that. It doesn't really work since GlovePIE maps all the buttons to key presses anyway.

Apparently older versions of MAME work with it though, but... Blah. It's not like I use MAME much anyway, so it's cool.
