Well I mean doing something like that is legal and not ever going to run into problems.

yeah -- notice I voiced no opinion on it. I actually don't have an opinion on it. It doesn't effect me at all. But I figured a lot of people on here would have an opinion.yomomma1 wrote:Well I mean doing something like that is legal and not ever going to run into problems.

Re: EA wants your $10
If if means that they will beef up the online servers, I don't have an issue with it. I also don't buy sports games so this really doesn't affect me. It'll be interesting to see how it affect new game sales going forward.
I have a nephew who buys every iteration of football/basketball games for his 360. I don't see the point of it but I'm sure there are a lot of kids like him who want the latest players/teams.

why don't I have a current gen console? Because none of them have made me feel like I'll play it enough to warrant the $.yomomma1 wrote:Why not, I have 2.(Of course, I limit my spending on obscure games, etc.)noiseredux wrote:oh I like sports games... I just don't have a current gen console.
Re: EA wants your $10
My opinion is that this is a sh$tty move, and while I normally do buy all my games NEW, this makes me want to purchase all EA games USED from Gamefly (who keeps all cases/manuals/codes in mint condition for you). Thanks EA!
The biggest problem I have with this is that some people are uninformed about this, they'll buy their kid a copy of Madden 2033 and he won't be able to play it properly because he didn't get the code. Is that his fault? Are places like Lamestop going to put up big signs that say: "Attention: Buying these games USED means you don't get the whole experience, and could end up costing you more $ than buying NEW!"? No.

Really? I play my 360 more than anything, though the only downside is that i have played almost every good game on it(about 250 retail ones) Back on topic... EA did this with mass effect 2 and a few others, though not like this. They only limited minor content.
