Haha I've never heard of MIMP before! They're fictional monsters/mutants made to sell toys right? Like Evangelion and TMNT?

Yeah, pretty much, though these toys were small plastic figures of all kinds of monsters, ranging in point value. They tied into a board game and soem other stuff, though they ended up more popular in th UK than the US.

Still, I had a few, and I remember the NES game based on the franchise was a lot of fun.

The Madballs game is actually pretty good. I got it cheap on Steam and I've enjoyed what I've played of it, though they are really trying to milk it for all its worth with the extra DLC content. I don't buy any of the new skins or crap like that, though I think they are probably just trying to use that as advertising to keep themselves up on the Steam list of recent releases and updates.

I think there was a game based on MUSCLE toys too. Anyone know if that was any good?

MUSCLE was an anime that we didn't get in the states. We just got the toys and the game, but I guess we can't really say the game was based directly on the toys any more than the TMNT games are based on the toys.

But no, the game was not good at all. It's a really bad wrestling game.

Hey, does Marble Madness count as a game starring a toy? I'd say yes.
