I don't know what "black man" is supposed to mean as a description for something to Japanese. Maybe it supposed to conjure up images of hard working slaves toiling away for you, thus meaning the mop will do a great job.

I can tell you, what I just said would get me instantly suspended on Gamefaqs for offensive content. They are so uptight. You can't talk about anything that someone might find even slightly offensive over there.

Well, I can understand why someone would be offended by the product, but I believe your intention was for us to raise an eyebrow and say "What the Hell Japan? Really?" as opposed to trying to insult a specific ethnicity, culture, etc. So don't worry about it, you won't be suspended.

Unless of course you're trying to offend someone, in which case we'll have to share words.

Yes, the former was my intention, not the latter. Gamefaqs doesn't care about intentions, however, which I learned the hard way. Did you know you can get suspended over there for using the work "sucks" to describe something in a thread title? It's fine to use in a post, but not in the title. Weird.

Oh, and this whole thing about insulting people reminds me of something. For years when I was little I thought the Brownies was like the cub scouts, except only for black people. I got that impression from a book I read, where a black girl becomes part of the Brownies. Everyone else in her troop was black too, because it was in a predominantly black area, so I figured you had to be "brown" to be in the Brownies. I had never heard of the Brownies before, and so I didn't know what they were really like. Someone set me straight eventually, although it was years later.
