He (Carlos Dengler) left Interpol (a band) today... I really liked him for his bass work. Although he did not compose the bass lines for the band, he expressed them very well. Shame really....

C'mere - wow. I really love this song. However, the bass line gives the song almost two entities within it.

Ah, well; that is the way of bands. Well, at least he worked on the album that's going to be released soon... can't wait to hear it.

Man, Interpol is definitely one of my top three bands. Hell, I have "Roland" from Turn On The Bright Lights as my ringtone.

Sad to see Carlos go, but glad his music will be on the upcoming album. Just hope this departure doesn't disrupt the sound the band has been able to create. I've never been able to pinpoint exactly why, but some of their tunes are seriously like audio heroine for my ears.

Not going to knock them, but I really could not get into Joy Division. After I ripped through EVERYTHING Interpol has ever recorded, I tried Joy Division. However, I just could not "feel it". However, to each his own.

Yeah, I know. Keep listening if you like em'. I could recommend a bunch of other post-punk/cold wave bands if you're into that dark dance-ey sound.
