vga cable screen (tearing looking?) problems.

Post by unrealsoldier »

Hey!

I just got a vga cable and i got some strange screen tearing looking stuff on my lcd tv im not sure if this is how its supose to be or if somethings wrong. when a game is in motion everything looks ok but when in a menu or some other options etc when the screen is still it tears, but just a little... but enough to make you wonder if somethings not right.

to make it clearer what i mean im gonna compare it with the closest thing i know and that is pc games without vsync but only a little out of sync and with the olny differnce this can be seen when the game on screen is not in motion.

i hate my crappy english so hard to explain shit like this.. anyway i hope someone know what this is and how to make it stop or whatever i would be very very grateful.

It could be a bad cable... Broken shielding or a faulty wire... Or some sort of interference/noise from an other electrical device...

Yes sounds like a bad cable. Easiest thing to troubleshoot anyway so try that first. Use a short one and test it out.

the dc vga cable or the extra vga cable i use to connect it to the tv ?

use this to connect the dc cable to the tv http://www.kabelgiganten.se/artiklar.as ... 2&menyid=2

also replaced the cord with another new one but the problem still is there... has to be the dc cable only thing i havent tested yet.
