damn that is tight! I want to play my SSF4 on a Viewlix Arcade Machine like this (this one is modded).
What do you guys think of my SSFIV setup?

Re: Super Street Fighter 4
Very nice! Do those arcade sticks have some weight?
Re: Super Street Fighter 4
Yes, the SF4 TE sticks have a good amount of weight on them. Only stick I've felt that's heavier is the HRAP-SE stick.

I have the Blaze Dual Shock big enough for stability, to prevent sliding, couple quick-clamps (bar down) work.

I'm just using a humble PS3 Sega Virtua Stick High Grade for SSFIV goodness.
Damn thing weighs a ton, it doesn't shift when I play.

hehe humble my ass. The guy who took me out of EVO last year was playing on one. He let me check it out in casuals and it is really sweet. Big enough to put in your lap and really heavy in a good way. I love my TE stick but would love to add one of those guys.
you were in Japan last year right? Wasn't you beating my ass I hope
didn't you used to play at Golfland back in Alpha 2 days?

I meant it has a very humble design. No turbo, no extra buttons. Just what is needed. I used to have the hori SFIV stick, but after trying out the PS3 Sega Virtua Stick, I bought one with a quickness and got rid of the Hori stick. It had a humble price, too. Just 4000 yen at the recycle shop. I never tried the Mad Catz ones since they don't sell Mad Catz products in Japan.
I did play at Milpitas and Sunnyvale golflands back in the 90s. Alpha 2 was the last
SF game that I played in arcades. After that, it was all console fighting until SFIV
was released in Japan back in July '08.
It probably wasn't me kicking your ass since I am not really that good (just average).
Back in the Alpha 2 days, I ruled with Rolento, but those days are long gone.
I was in Japan for a few years, yeah, but I mostly played SFIV in arcades since I prefer the arcade experience. Back here in the bay area, i don't really have a choice but to play online.
Are you originally from the bay area?

Re: Super Street Fighter 4
you've been lucky enough to play in some of the best arcades out there! SF4 in Japan must be great. When I was there last VF5 was on its 3rd variant.
I used to play Street Fighter Alpha 2 and Super Turbo at Sunnyvale and Southern Hills down south. I was a touring DJ/electronic act back in the 90's so whenever I drove through California I would hit the arcades. All I remember was the quality of play down there was amazing. The arcades were like something out of the movies down there, nothing like it up in Oregon.
