I used to cook all the time for me and my fiancee. Since our relationship ended I don't really see the point in cooking for one person. So I'll just eat bits and pieces if I feel hungry.

I *just* put a rhubarb pie in the oven actually. I'm a big pie guy. Rhubarb, pecan, pumpkin, sweet potato. Yum. I try to make my own crusts when I can. Sometimes it works better than others. Oddly enough I prefer apple crisp to apple pies. Sometimes I'll make quickbreads like banana bread, etc.

I lust after a good kitchen-aid mixer. I just don't have the patience to mix bread dough by hand. I do have a $5 goodwill bread machine that's good enough for pizza dough & hamburger buns. So that will keep me for now. I can also make a bad ass jalapeno cheddar loaf in it. Still, it's no good for french bread.

I bake bread. I kinda cheat since I use a Zojirushi bread machine that I brought back from
Japan. It takes effort, just not as much as using a conventional oven.

This is the one I have..

I used to bake a little, but my diet has changed a lot and I just don't eat a lot of baked goods. I do still make homemade pizza crust, though. Also, sometimes when I visit my family I make biscuits, because I seem to be the only one who gets the proportions of buttermilk and shortening correct to make them like my grandmother used to. They're individually made by hand, based largely on feel, so we can't write an actual recipe.

I was thinking of baking some homemade cinnamon poptarts. It's just brown sugar, cinnamon, and that tannish outside stuff that nobody likes. Come to think of it, they should just sell pop-tart filling in jars like jelly.

I can bake, but I don't do it often. I just recently baked different kinds of pizzas using barbecue sauce in place of tomato sauce.
