Do you bake?

I do not really bake but I do all of my own cooking. My wife is a vegetarian and we usually always have different schedules so we just always cook for our selves. However, I just got done baking a black berry cobbler and it came out f'ing awesome. I am enjoying it as I type this. I was going to save some for my wife but I think I am just going to eat it all.

Do any of you guys do any baking? What kind of stuff do you bake?

It's taking alot of will to refrain from weed references, so I hope you appreciate the maturity I'm showing. Its an effort.

I do like baking, but, until recently have not been particularly good at it. I'm a sucker for cakes -- semi-sweet cakes, with a fruity icing (little fruit nectar mixed chunks of fruit in a butter cream). I always knew that exact temperatures were fairly critical, and once I installed a thermometer in my oven, things are coming out much better. I knew my oven was a bit off kilter, but I had no idea it would often schew 50-75 degrees.

With that said, I still don't do it often.

haha! perhaps a weed baking thread would be a bad idea! I can almost picture the amount of good 'ingredients' I wasted trying to make hash cakes .

Oh... I thought this was about a different kind of baking. However, I do both, and often mix the two together!

I like to make muffins though, nothing like waking up in the morning to some coffee and some muffins you made the night before!

Sometimes I'll make myself brownies or cookies, but if I do I usually take it into the office, since if it stays in my apartment I'll eat it too fast. Sometimes I'll make myself a pot roast.
