Is it manly to drink threw a straw?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Will a big straw make a difference? Choke on the boba.

My other nut finally descended and I sprouted a mullet!

Actually I say if you're comfortable with who you are and want to use a straw, go ahead. Screw the other people.

Also, damn I haven't had boba in over a year. I'm going to have to remedy that this weekend.

Big tapioca balls in a tea/coffee/fruit drink or slush. So it requires a fat straw to accommodate the tapioca. You get chewy bits in your drink. Some places also have cubed jelly to drop instead of the tapioca.

Looks like a tea version of Café Frappé.

They are all the rage here. For awhile, the U-district Ave near campus had 5-6 different bubble tea shops on the same 10 block stretch of street.

As for their manliness, they often have cutesy little anime animal cartoons cartoons printed on them and they come in bright colors and fruity flavors. This would make them unmanly, except for the fact that this drink is always a life threatening experience as it is very easy to suck back a fat tapioca ball and nearly choke to death, so cutesy animals be damned-- a drink that can kill you is a manly drink.

There are coffee flavors too. And I thought my Mad Bird was a killer during my crazy youth.
