Is it manly to drink threw a straw?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Is it manly to drink threw a straw?

Post by thetooth »

Just wondering because where i live people seem to give you looks if you take a straw out of a drink(alcoholic, coke, anything) witch you'd assume would happen in a much more classy setting but this is just an outer suburb. On the other hand i can go into the city and drink with or without and no one, not even friends say a thing.

So that is the question, straw or no straw?

Tooth, it's manly to drink your drink anyway way you feel like it.

Yes, but it gets plain after a while. If I am feeling a little crazy, I will use a bendy straw. But if it's a special occasion... I break out the crazy loopy straw.

Ack has a fair point. What exactly was it you were drinking? Rum & coke is better through a straw, was it rum & coke?

Your problem might not be how you access the stuff in your glass, but what's in there in the first place.

I don't know of any manly drinks that are consumed via straw.
