Hello all!
My boyfriends been pottering around on this forum for a little while now, and I've been finding it quite interesting, so I thought I'd join too. :)

Well, what about me... I'm quite a fan of the Game Boy and have a nice little collection of Game Boys and games going on. The Game Boy was the console of my youth and otherwise I wasn't really into games until I bought my Xbox 360 three years ago. Since then I've aquired a few more consoles, though I'm a lot more into my handhelds than anything else.

My boyfriend loves his retro consoles, and I've had the chance to experience some of the games I missed out on in my youth, such as Final Fantasy IX and Pokémon Snap.

Now I'm playing far too many games at once and enjoying every minute of it!

Your boyfriend sounds like a pretty cool guy. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that he's the most devilishly handsome, intelligent and incredibly witty hunk of a man in say... The whole of universe both spatially and temporally?

jams0123 here, heard of this site from various people but so far it looks great. Im not a noob at forums so I wont post "OMG HOW DO I DO THIS!?!?!!1!!!!?!?!" or some bullshit like that. I've always loved retro games more than newer ones, especially Neo-Geo arcade games.

Welcome! Always great to have new members with their experiences and ideas. No worries if new or seasoned everyone can contribute. You could modify your signature link if you want to, and show what systems you own. Also if you have not tried that blue links bar above in particular "Topics" and "Guides", Racketboy has provided a wealth of information on various systems.

This is my third post here, but hey, still pretty new!
I found this site last september, during the dreamcast's tenth birthday celebration and was trying to find some good guides for retro game collectors.
ive been playing video games since before i could tie my shoes but have only been collecting for about a year, ever since I started watching AVGN. I'm now the proud owner of a nes, n64, ps1, ps2, ps3, xb, 360, gameboy advance, gamecube, dreamcast, saturn, wii and my latest purchase a dsi xl (PHEW!) next big purchase will be a psp and a set of vga cables for the dc :D
anyway, glade to be here 8)
