I'm looking to get a PC Engine Duo-R/RX and some games for the system as well.
I am thinking about getting the following:
Akumajou Dracula X: Chi no Rondo (the Holy Grail itself)
Detana Twinbee!
Parodius Da!
Salamander
Gradius
Gradius II: Gofer no Yabou (one of my favorite Virtual Console games)
Cho Aniki (heard it was very weird)
Ai Cho Aniki (even weirder than its predecessor)
Do you guys have any ideas/recommendations on what to look for on this system?

Actually I just did write ups on Bloody Wolf and Die Hard (Japanese) for a project I'm working on. Both are run and gun kill anything that moves gameplay, and are actually fun.

If you're into beat 'em ups definitely get Splatterhouse. One of my fav's on the console.

AIR ZONK! One of my favorite games on the TG-16. Also Neutopia is pretty good though it's basically a Zelda rip-off. Honestly try pac-land, pretty close to the arcade port if you ask me. But yeah AIR ZONK!

Not sure if you're into action RPGs, but Ys Book 1&2 is an absolute classic. Dracula X is amazing, though spendy - but worth it. Dragon Slayer is a good turn-based RPG (and is, for all I know, the only one available on the system). Lords of Thunder is pretty incredible also. Street Fighter II', Ninja Spirit, Legendary Axe, Bonk and Splatter House are all must owns. Kaze Kiri Ninja Action is pretty sweet, but usually overpriced. I dig the PC Engine versions of Altered Beast and Salamander also. Hope that helps man!
YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS ARE DEAD. GAME OVER.
