yeah it sounds like a very viable option. I've seen those adapters many, many times. The only reason I had my heart set on the Hori GCN controller was from a certain collector/purist standpoint. I really really wanted a Hori that was meant for the Cube, since I already loved the Hori made for the GBPlayer.

Great write-up NR; one of your best entries so far. The only cart I've been curious about you didn't cover is River City Ransom EX. Seems like you've been getting your dollars worth from that arcade stick, alright. And I really look forward to your "Turtles on GB" post at a later date.

thanks man. Glad yr enjoying it. I still need River City EX myself. I LOVE the original. I'm a big fan of the whole Kunio-kun series. BTW, Mighty Final Fight is A LOT like River City. Check it out.

Another great review of a forgotten TG16 game converted. Never seen the Gameboy version.
There is also the Hudson selection series including Bonk for the Gamecube.

thanks for the kind words you guys. The Bonk post ALMOST didn't go up becuz I accidentally deleted it halfway through. :? But I ended up just re-doing it since I love the game.

The Hudson Select version on Gamecube is a remake of the original. And actually the screens I've seen of it look beautiful. I'm actually surprised that Hudson didn't release it as part of their line of GBA re-releases in Japan.
