What's your most hated game?

I'm not talking about what you think is the worst game you've ever played, but what game do you just hate the most for whatever reason?

Mine would have to be Mega Man X5. I absolutely love Mega Man X - X4, as evidenced by the fact that they all found a place in my 50 Favorite Games list. Mega Man X4 proved that the series could survive to jump to 32-bits, but MMX5 just ruined everything. Between boring level and boss design, shitty controls (this was a problem in 4 too, but it was much more evident in this game), treating the players like idiots (the first time you play through a level, some girl will pop up several times telling about upcoming obstacles and such), and having waaaay more dialogue than a Mega Man game should ever have, this game utterly killed one of my favorite series.

But I've ranted enough; what game do you hate the most, and why?

(P.S. One of the bosses is named Duff McWhalen. No joke. I know Mega Man games don't really have the best and most creative boss names, but for fuck's sake, I can't believe someone at Capcom actually thought having a whale named Duff McWhalen was a good idea.)

I really couldn't say one. I've got quite a few I don't care for, like Halo, Starcraft, Super Mario 64, so on and so forth, but nothing really stands out as a game I hate.

Oh wait, I take that back. Nanobreaker.

I hate you, Nanobreaker. I hate your futuristic Castlevania wanna-be trappings, your annoying fights, your utterly uber cheap boss battles. I hate your style, your storyline, your controls, your platformer elements, many of your enemy designs. I hate the fact that, now that I've beaten your cheap piece of shit game, I'm expected to go back and subject myself to that crap sandwhich again. And I hate the guys that made it, though I don't know who they are because I was too fed up with the game to sit through the credits when I beat you because I really just wanted to get out of the same room with you.

In fact, about the only thing I do like about it is that blood spray is the way I gain bonus points for upgrades, though truthfully I set the blood to multicolor so I could have a strange psychadelic floor mural built from the guts of my enemies instead of having to look at the massive rusty ocean you wanted me to see because your principal driving focus in that part was "gore and violence is cool."

Fuck you, Nanobreaker. I hope you burn in Hell.

I had been tempted to buy Nanobreaker because it was made by the guy that did Symphony of the Night. But now im happy i left it alone

As for a game i hate well i hate Doom 3, Oblivion and Fallout 3 equally because they have one thing in common. Crappy sequels to great games which at the time i had high hopes for.

For me it's Wrecking Crew for the NES.

First of all this should not be a Mario game. It's fun in the beginning - you beat 10 to 20 levels and your having tons of fun then everything hits the fan. It gets really really too hard too fast. The difficulty curve is broken. Spike's AI goes from being Johnny 5 retard in say level 21 to Shodan god like in level 22. It's been at least 10 years since I last played but really I hate how evil Spike is in the later levels.

Spike should be in the spotlight instead of Wario. Just look at the guy!

Sports games re-released every year (except NHL hitz 2003 for the gamecube )
Halo
Call of Duty (after the first 3)
Guitar hero (after harmonix stopped making the them)

On the other side of the coin, any budget wii game. They should not exist.

Oh I got plenty...and a lot of them are games that other people like.

Most hated though, hmmm, probably God of War (like I said, I hate a lot of games that people like). I honestly couldn't find one thing I could come close to tolerating, much less enjoying, in that game. Give me Devil May Cry anytime.
