Need help finding a Quality VGA Switch that also switches au

Post by Nitrosoxide »

Anyways, I've been using my TV's VGA port and white red stereo inputs
for my dreamcast and my PC. But, I've just been getting tired of doing it manually since I only have one VGA port.

Through its VGA port my TV can Support

SVGA
XGA = 1024 x 768
WXGA = 1280 x 768
WXGA = 1360 x 768
SXGA = 1280 x 1024

Now I have searched and found switchers that switch only VGA, but then I'd still be switching the audio manually.

I hook audio upto my TV from my computer and dreamcast with a 3.5mm headphone jack to red and white stereo jacks.

So I'm looking for the best and most inexpensive solution to a switch that switches between

My dreamcast & dreamcast audio
and
My PC / PC audio.

Anyone able to help me out?
Do you want Wavebird quality wireless DC controllers?

If you can solder, you should be able to make a simple switch with some wires, a few jacks and a switch.

I really have never used a soldering iron before.... Or done anything like that, so it'd probably turn out to be crap.

In my experience, all vga switches degrade the quality, even the ones that require a power outlet.
