Since your having so much trouble burning Radiant Silvergun for the Saturn, run the Arcade ROM in MAME.

I know you don't want to use an emulator but I suggest doing so to test your burned disc. If it doesn't work for the emulator, it won't work for the Saturn. You need Daemon Tools to mount the CD on your PC and then fire up the emulator.
I also suggest burning a different game (import) to see if that works. Hopefully this is more data that will pinpoint your problem.

Don't use Daemon tools, it's a piece of shit now, crammed with spyware and browser bar shit. Don't risk it. Use Virtual Clone Drive instead. Best of all it's Freeware (daemon tools isn't free anymore, it's either adware or shareware, not sure what the definitions are anymore it's such a blurry line now).gtmtnbiker wrote:I know you don't want to use an emulator but I suggest doing so to test your burned disc. Might look for whatever version was still good here.Niode wrote:Don't use Daemon tools, it's a piece of shit now, crammed with spyware and browser bar shit. Don't risk it. Yeah I have Virtual Clone Drive (it's great by the way, check it out) and that's what I used when I attempted to play RS on an emulator. I actually got the game to run but the speed was downright terrible, that's why I don't want to try emulating this game. I hear you have to have a high-end pc to run a Saturn emulator at a decent speed, which I do not have. But there's also the fact that I can't use the Sega Region Patcher for some reason so that's a pretty big obstacle at the moment since it appears that I NEED it if I want to convert the region coding. The emulating on MAME idea might be good, which I'm willing to resort to if that'll be easier.Niode wrote:Don't use Daemon tools, it's a piece of shit now, crammed with spyware and browser bar shit. But you have the option not to install any browser bars and whatnot when you're installing Daemon Tools Lite. Is there something else I'm missing?Niode wrote:Don't use Daemon tools, it's a piece of shit now, crammed with spyware and browser bar shit. Don't risk it. Use Virtual Clone Drive instead. Thanks for bringing this to my attention though. I've been writing a new burning guide and I'd much rather use Virtual CloneDrive if it's a cleaner program.
